In November of last year, Amazon announced that a Mass Effect TV show was in development. Now, voice actress Jennifer Hale told Eurogamer that she would love to be a part of it and believes that the director should be involved.

“You will always get a yes vote from me on Shepard’s return in any form,” Hale said. “That’s such a gift, and it’s a gift that I would be very happy to receive.”

Of course, creating a rumored TV series will have consequences. For starters, is Shepard male or female?

“I never thought I’d be teaching people what to do,” Hale said. “The only thing I have to say about the TV series is that I want to play! Any ability, I will be there with bells on!”

Hale admitted that he wanted FemShep to be canon in the show (apparently!), but he also wanted the rest of the cast to join in some capacity.

“I think they would be really smart to pull as much of the original cast into the show in cameos and Easter eggs and recurring and regular (roles) as possible,” he said. “I think that would be a real move.”

He added: “Community actors are some of the best actors I’ve ever met… they’re the most intelligent, hard-working, intelligent, talented people I’ve ever met. met in my life in the show. So I’m ready for the production company that did not see the gold I volunteered in the show.”

What’s more, there is a new Mass Effect game in development that is set to continue the story of the original trilogy, with at least one fan favorite returning. But does Hale want to see Shepard back?

He said, “I have no idea (what to expect), except I want to be there. That’s all I’m going to say. Hey, team, hey, team, wherever you are Anyway, I like it there!”

Over the weekend, BioWare’s chief operating officer Michael Gamble responded to the discussion of Paragon/Renegade ethics, with many fans speculating that it will return in the next game.
