“All in Car is handcrafted from various materials and animated using traditional stop-motion techniques,” the kickstarter game reads. “We then turn the animations into textures and sprites we can use in the game, add maps that let us have good lighting and shadows. We are improving everything we learn. in The Jews and the goal to demonstrate the effectiveness of the stop game. “
Speaking with Polygon, lead narrator and designer Jack King-Spooner explained Car‘s theme is just six words: “Hope, care, community, and overall health.”
Car follows the robot of the same name as he digs for treasure and supports a community of fellow automatons, some voiced by online personalities such as Jonathan Holmes and Vinny Vinesauce. Gameplay will be divided between underground mining and overground exploration, switching of a side-scrolling 2D view in the former and full 3D in the latter.
In all, Car as if it was made with the same care and attention to detail that was received The Jews an Excellence in Visual Arts nomination of Independent Game Festival Awards.
