Cyberpunk 2077‘s new updates mostly about fixing bugs, but hidden deep in the script is something pretty cool.
Ahead of the release of Nvidia’s new line of GeForce RTX 50 series GPUs on January 30, gamers Cyberpunk 2077 on recent-to-be-over PCs can now interact with some of the new DLSS 4 (or “deep learning”) features. These include an improved design environment that both increases performance and reduces VRAM usage, as well as a new Transformer model for improved stability, lighting, and expanding in motion.
As reported by The Vergeusers on the Nvidia subreddit have already played with this technology and compared graphics.
Cyberpunk 2077 gamers who upgrade to an RTX 50 series GPU later this month will also have access to something called Multi Frame Generation which, according to the notes, “boosts FPS by using AI to generate three times always frame.” Sounds great!
Nvidia release a large list of games January 6 which will also benefit from DLSS 4 technology at last, including Diablo IV, God of War Ragnarök, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Marvel Rivals, Microsoft Flight Simulator, STALKER 2: The Heart of Chornobyland many more.
